Justin
Justin is STG Building's Site Manager. He's responsible for the day-to-day running of construction sites and for making sure every project is built safely, to a high standard and on schedule. He's the link between plans and finished build, and he keeps trades, materials and timelines working together so projects move forward without disruption.
On site
Leading on site
Justin manages every stage of construction on site, from set-out and slab through to framing, lock-up, fit-out and handover. He knows how each stage depends on the one before it, and he plans the work so trades can get on with the job efficiently. His hands-on presence keeps decisions quick and problems small.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities
- Site coordination Scheduling subcontractors, deliveries and inspections so work flows smoothly from one stage to the next.
- Program management Tracking progress against the construction program and acting early to keep projects on time.
- Quality control Inspecting workmanship at every stage so the finished build meets STG Building's standards, the plans and the specifications.
- Work health and safety Running safe, well-organised sites, enforcing safety procedures and making sure everyone on site goes home safely.
- Compliance and inspections Coordinating with certifiers, engineers and council inspectors to meet all building codes and approval conditions.
- Problem-solving Resolving on-site issues quickly and practically, working with the builder, designers and consultants.
Communication
Clear communication
Justin keeps everyone informed, from trades and suppliers to the office team and clients. He gives clear updates on progress and next steps, so clients always know where their project stands. His organised, approachable manner makes him easy to work with on site.
